Route 1 - Snorunt: Froslass or Glalie provide Ice coverage early. Snorunt is surprisingly useful throughout the game.
Icicle Cave - Swinub: Mamoswine is one of the best Ice/Ground types available. Thick Fat reduces Fire and Ice weaknesses.
Route 3 - Larvitar: If you find one, Tyranitar is an absolute powerhouse. Sand Stream sets up sandstorm for your team.
Cinder Volcano - Darumaka: Darmanitan with Sheer Force is a nuclear option. One of the highest Attack stats available.
KBT Expressway - Gible: Garchomp is Garchomp. One of the best Pokemon in any game, and it is available here.
Thundercap Mt. - Magnemite: Magnezone with Sturdy is incredibly useful. Steel/Electric typing has tons of resistances.
Safari Zone: Many rare encounters available. Plan your Safari Zone catch carefully as it counts as one encounter area.
Victory Road: Late but powerful encounters. Bring your best team to handle the trainers here while catching your encounter.
Pokemon Unbound has features that make Nuzlocke runs uniquely interesting. The difficulty settings (Vanilla, Difficult, Expert, Insane) let you choose your challenge level. The game includes Gen 1-7 Pokemon with modern battle mechanics including Fairy type, Mega Evolution, and Z-Moves.
